[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this rope about 7 years ago and am getting ready to retire it. It's been a great rope. It handles well and works great for top roping and sport (I've taken it on trad climbs too, but just been the follower). It's a little thicker than lots of ropes out there now, but great for durability and an excellent beginner rope. It was stiff at first but after a few falls and uses it's great. This rope is a great price point compared with others. Petzl has great products. I'd highly recommend this rope to anyone looking to get into climbing outside that needs a workhorse for all different kinds of climbing. It works with ATC and Grigri.
