Great Feel In The Hand, But May Wear Quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a buttery handling rope. Really like the way it feels in the hand. I much prefer a light rope with a really obvious middle marker, too. But after only one day out, one section that rubbed against rock was already pretty fuzzy, which was disappointing. Probably my user error, but with a thin rope, it's not great to see so much wear so quickly.

Really Nice Rope

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great light rope. Handles well! Love it! Great color and glides well though belay device. Not too skinny but light and fun. Perfect sport climbing rope.

Great High Performance Low Weight Rope

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a couple weeks ago. Sport climbed a one pitch 5.10A and took a couple falls. Elated a friend 180lb and catches were soft. I used a Mammut 9,5 before but this rope seems easier to manage even though it’s thinner.

Silky Smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This this rips rigs right out of the plastic. Buy it and send today! Would highly recommend if you’re considering as a red point rope or something that just clips like butter

Dope Rope

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really nice rope. Doesn't feel like a piece of floss like some other skinny rope. Soft and supple right out of the bag. I would recommend this rope for steeper hard sport climbing where the rope doesn't have a chance to rub as it's so skinny. I have had to chop the end twice but the first time was after a 2 week trip in the red where we only used this rope and the second time after normal wear and tear. Would highly recommend this rope for hard projecting/red pointing

Best Rope Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Volta is the best as far as the least amount of kinking and twisty. It handles really well overall. It’s the only rope that I buy and very worth it.

Rope Gun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new 70 and the rules looked great so I went for it. So glad I did! Feels good. Lightweight. I wanted something that would stay off the chicken heads and it did!

First "Thin" Rope

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great feel and action through belay device, although a 9.2 is feels meaty but weighs nothing. Absolutely have fallen in love with this rope! This rope works best in a Grigri + and I leave it on top rope setting all the time and this rope is can feel a bit slipper through it but never unsafe.

Long Trad And Alpine Gem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trad climbing Eldo's long, varied pitches? This rope is durable for its size/weight. It is also one of the best handling ropes I have ever owned. This rope is a replacement for the exact same one. After a few seasons, the only thing which pointed to age was the sun-faded color and light fuzzing. Worked great for me. Bomber gear!

Great Alpine Rope

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this rope. Good balance between light weight and falls held. It is thicker than your typical 9.2 because the sheath weave is not very tight; however the weight is low and the added diamiter. Makes it easier to Handel.

Great Features, The Latest Products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used mammut infinity, petzl 9.8, sterling helix, and many more ropes before. petzl volta is lighter than them, very soft, I liked the fact that the rope was rolled up so that I could climb as soon as I bought the rope for the first time. According to other reviews, the durability is relatively good, so I look forward to the next climb. And, the product I received this time was the latest product produced in September 2020, and the packaging was good.

Fantastic Handling

Love this rope to multipitch in groups of three. It's so light (makes long approaches so much better) and the sheath has a surprisingly long wear life for its size. Handling is fantastic. I wouldn't use it on hangdog days, but for sending or just cruising pitches it's great. I love that it's triple certified: I use it as a half rope or single.

Smooth And Supple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Petzl Volta rope for general mountaineering and have been very happy with the performance. The sheath has a smooth surface that is easy to handle and easy on the hands. The supple construction makes knotting easy it feeds through my GriGri beautifully. At 9.2mm it is not too big and not too small for my equipment and needs.

Great Rope!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this rope in grey for ice climbing and general mountaineering and love it! I bought the 70 meter and overall it's a little smaller and lighter than my other 60 meter ropes just because of its small diameter
