Let me start by saying I'm a loyal, raving Ping fan. Other than my trusty Scotty, I have never owned anything but a Ping, going back to my first set of garage sale Ping Eyes, to my first fitted brand new G2s and every new model since then. My friends razz me about being a fanboy as I proudly fly the flag on my hat, bag and towel. Naturally, when I first saw this bag I had to have it. Now the best way to describe the experience is akin to owning a nice boat. When others see me with it, they're likely to be envious. They don't know that I rue the day I bought it. The quality is good, and the looks are killer, but this bag is entirely unusable. I wanted to love it, but you WILL NOT be able to pull your clubs out. No, I don't have oversized grips, and no, I don't have extra clubs. Ping, this was a huge swing and a miss! 2 rounds of use, and it's now collecting dust in my garage.
I bought my first set of clubs, the ping orange dot, 35 years ago. Have and love them to this day. When my old leather golf bag finally gave way, I decided to gift my clubs a brand new PING HOOFER TOUR (white) golf stand bag. It is the best looking bag I have ever seen. Unfortunately using it, is frustrating and damaging to the grips of my clubs. The partition fabric is very poorly designed and I am very disappointed. I did not imagine that i would ever have to review a ping product before buying it.
Homemade
I have been using ping golf bags since high school, my father was a Ping guy. I have four in my garage. This is by far the best looking Ping bag they ever made. But it functions so poorly, getting a club in and out of the bag is work. The clubs get caught on the fabric liner almost every time.

Love so many things about this bag including size, pockets, storage. The only thing is that there is a plastic rod that keeps coming out of the top of the bag that affects the bag while it stands up. I have tried to repair it myself but it keeps coming out.
Bradillac
I purchased this bad two seasons ago. As a competitive amateur golfer, I was excited to have a bag that I could stock up that wasn't a staff bag. While the bag has plenty of room and the layout of the bag is what I have come to expect (I have been exclusively using hoofer bags since the 90's) my frustration lies with the dividers inside of the bag. I find myself fighting to pull cubs. They don't tangle with each other, but they get caught in excess material at the bottom on the bag. To be honest, it is a huge surprise, as I have come to expect nothing but the very best quality from my years of using Ping equipment and products. Sadly, this bag is a catch-all for my spare parts in the basement... I wish I had have purchased a different model.
