This IS a great looking bag, and the numerous storage compartments are well laid out. However, the club tangle is so annoying that I will be replacing it soon. My grips take a real beating and I only carry 12 clubs. They still hang up. My next bag will have a carry handle. I like Ping products a lot, just not this bag.

Hoofer 14
Been using the hoofer 14 (replacing the traverse) so it is easier to carry. And less noise from carrying due to its 14 divider. ISSUE #1: the 14 way divider makes the clubs stuck when pulling out or in. Specially with my grips (Jumbo). This is becoming annoying to the point I would have preferred less divisions. Can't Ping have the hoofer 14 pockets but a 7 way divider?

Ping Hoofer 14
Excellent all-around durable multi-purpose bag. Light enough to carry but also equipped with plenty of pockets and storage space. Color is one of a kind. Love this bag. Another win for Ping, but still a bit pricey at $300.

I love the bag except sometimes the club will hang up and not settle to the bottom leaving it to stick out above the other clubs. But this has always been an issue with the Ping Hoffer 14

It's Not A Staff Bag, But It's A Great Work Horse!
It's not a staff bag, but it's a GREAT work horse! I've had slightly better bags when it comes to the smaller bags, but not by much. This bag will work until you spoil yourself and upgrade to a staff bag!
