Normally With Ping 5 Stars, Not This Time
I've been a PING club and bag player since the 90's. I've owned the Hoofer and multiple other PING bags when I carried and then switched to the Traverse when I went to an electric caddy. I purchased the Pioneer for extra rain gear, food and other items. Psyched when it showed up and being a Michigan guy the navy and gold was close enough to our colors that I was stoked. From the first time I started opening the multiple pockets I was pleased with the room. When I strapped the bag onto my MGI Zip I knew I was going to have to manipulate the straps through the strap pockets. The two center top personal pouch pockets below where the straps come through are placed too high on the bag so the top personal items pouch pocket is hard to open and close completely leaving it open or closed but with difficult access during the round. The pockets are useful otherwise and it wasn't uncommon to have to rethink where I put everything when I was looking for snacks, sunscreen or other items because of the number of pockets. Given the strap situation, on a 1-5 basis I gave it a 3 as it's not up to PING engineering (in my opinion,) which is in everything else they manufacture.

Worth The Money

Love The Bag Except The Rain Cover Clip Also Broke
I bought this bag just over 3 months ago and am really enjoying the bag in terms of functionality and pockets. It is also a great looking bag. Unfortunately I have now also experienced the disappointment of the rain cover clip breaking.
