If you happen to top one with this club, it really runs as it’s heavy. Hated it at first. But if you stay down, the ball pops right up. From any nice lie close in, it will chip up, but back spin it tough to come by. Bump and run em. Surprisingly when swinging thru it really flies high and I can even get 100 yards out of it if needed.

Game Changer!
If you play for the enjoyment of golf and need a more consistent short game, then this club is designed for you. The Chip-R feels more like a wedge and can be used for full shots. Confidence around the green is amazing, and I am holing more shots from the fringe than ever with this club. If you are a scratch golfer, then you probably don’t need this club. If you are like 90% of all golfers who want to play better golf, then put this club in your bag!

Useful For Older Or Below Average Players
I demo this at my home course a couple times. I have no use for it but I will say if you find it difficult to chip from a tight lie or out sparse ruff, the loft and weight of this club will allow you to make a speed up putter stroke. I did my long lag putt stroke from about 5 yards short and knocked it close. You do need alot of green because the ball will run after it lands. Useful but not useful club.
