Rated 5 out of 5 by from Swing it and you'll know! I have not purchased new woods in more than 20 years, so it was time to step into the 21st century. I tried out a number of clubs at the store, but nothing felt as smooth at the PING G 3 wood. Understanding that the transfer to actual playing conditions can sometimes have mixed results, I believed I would have to get used to the nuances of the club over time. This was not the case! My first round using the club I found myself consistently hitting straight and far (220-230 yards) consistently from both the tee and the grass. If you are looking for an edge in your long game, I highly recommend checking out the PING G 3 wood today!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Punchy loft and lots of Roll Gaming this club in regular shaft, right hand. Once I found the correct ball position from the turf a good strike gets the ball in the air and penetrating thru any wind towards the green, with lots of roll after landing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to air out / plenty of roll Fitted with TOUR 80 one step down and now have ideal flight from tee or ground. After 2 months and ten rounds it has gotten to be my ‘go to’ club. It set up my 1st EAGLE on a 569 yard par 5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A "beast" On my home course I may end up using a 3W 7 to 9 times, so whatever's in the bag HAS to work. I've had minimal success w/ other 3W including the Ping SF Tec 3W, (it spun too much & despite the draw bias in the club, ALL my shots went right). So far this club has performed! Lower trajectory, less spin & pretty accurate. Easily 15-20 yards longer than my prior 3W (the Ping SFT) mainly because I'm seeing a straighter, less-ballooning shot. I can use it off the Tee on select holes yet it's still fairly easy to hit off the fairway. So far, so good!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ping G 3 wood I bought my new ping G 3 wood less than a month ago. I'm hiring it further and straighter than my older cobra 3 wood. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice face Great face on club helps you align properly. Very forgiving. So far only hit on video screen but flight path and distance were all good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ping G 3 Wood 14.5 I've never found a 3 Wood that could stay in my bag. I had zero confidence in them because I simply couldn't consistently hit them. I tried just about every brand, type, etc. for many decades and none could win me over. I've only had the Ping G for a few weeks and it is a solid feature club in my bag! Easy to hit off the deck or tee. If you're like me and couldn't make 3 wood work, you need to take a serious look at the Ping G.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great height on shots, easy to hit. I bought this one month ago and have been out to the course and range five times. This 14.5 deg 3 wood gets the ball airborne easily, off the grass or tee, is very forgiving and has great distance. I was happily surprised at the high elevation of my shots, compared to my previous 3 wood (a 15 degree, non-Ping). I am a 15 hdcp and use the stiff Alta 65 stiff shaft.
