Rated 1 out of 5 by from Perform well but terribly made irons These iron's are very forgiving and produce good distance but the hydropearl chrome finish on them is horrendous. After only 3 holes from new my PW looked like I had been playing ice hockey on tarmac with it. They chip/mark extremely easy just from bag clatter. Very disappointed. Hoping to return/exchange. Shame as I've used Ping clubs for years but the love affair may have just ended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't let your ego get in the way of improvement!! I have been a single digit handicap golfer for many years. I have just acquired the Ping G400 irons, fitted with the Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts. Prior to the G400s, I was playing the iBlades. Unfortunately, my swing is never going to be tour quality and neither is my ball striking ability. I decided to take advantage of the forgiveness offered in the G400s. I must admit that I was concerned about what the appearance of a game improvement club would "say" in my bag. After two rounds with the G400s, both being best rounds of the year score wise, I'm not concerned any longer. My off center hits don't lose a bunch of yards and the ball FLIES!!! The stronger lofts will take some time getting used to, but flush these irons and they are soft and sound great. If you are a better player and are concerned about the offset, don't be. I'm not hooking the ball and can work the ball left to right when I need to. Great product from Ping! Don't hesitate to consider these clubs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to hit I've hit more balls at the flag using ping g400 graphite irons in 2 rounds of golf than my other irons in 20 rounds. I am a 7 handicap soon to being lower. I also about 8 yards longer from the 8 iron to the 4 iron per club. I am so excited finally about getting my mid to long game back. Thanks ping

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Senior advantage clubs I purchased these irons about a month ago. Been to the driving range 4 times and practiced in the back yard several times. Still getting adjusted to them. I stopped playing about 30 years ago due to working too much overtime. I’m retired now and enjoying starting back playing. Read several reviews before purchasing these irons. So far I like the way they feel and hit. Ask me again in a couple of months for another review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game Changer!!!!!! I’ve been playing Pings for about 35 years now. I started with the Ping Eye 2, then migrated to Ping Zing 2, and am now playing my first season with the G400’s. I play in the neighborhood of 40-50 rounds per year, I hit balls at least once per week. So my clubs get used. At 60+ years of age, I knew it was time to trade in my 1 & 2 irons and get a set of clubs with graphite shafts. I’m a Ping man, sold on the performance of the old Eye 2s and Zing 2s. So, naturally I wanted to have a set of G400’s. After hitting a variety of clubs, the fitter and the stats agreed. Having now played 20 rounds with my “new” G400’s, I can attest to the fact that they will improve your game. I’m hitting the ball at heights and distances reminiscent of my 30’s. I’m hitting a full 2 clubs longer with these clubs. My game and handicap has improved along with this new found distance and control. I’m hitting it closer with my wedges and short irons. My only negative comment is they do scratch easier than my older clubs. The clubs’ performance is beyond comparison. Get yourself a set – you will not be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sticks....but..... LOVE my new G400's, but the face of these irons gets filthy and marred up during play. I can see imprints of my ball all over them....even the red permanent marker I use to mark my golf balls. What's up with these things ? Never had this issue with my G15's for sure.
