  • Thin 17-4 SS crown cast to .44mm enables weight savings for increased MOI and optimal CG location

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best set of fairway woods I have ever used!! Was fitted throughout the bag with 3 wood to 9 wood, easy to get airborne , very forgiving and the shot dispersion is great! Gaps with distance is solid, My fear of the longer distance shots is all but gone! I get the ball on or around or near the green enough that I can use my short game to save strokes. The Launch and spin is second to none. Im a lower ball low spin player so im the player that needs help in these area's. The new clubs of now take's spin off ... But these were built for me!! Steeper decent angle with spin means more greens!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No More Distance Gap Purchase of the G400 5 & 7 woods has closed the gap between my G400 LST driver and G25 4-Iron. With my moderate swing speed I am getting 195 to 210 yards with the 5 wood (dialed down to 16.5) and 185 to 195 with the 7 wood (dialed at neutral). Knowing what I know now why did I wait to purchase these fairway woods?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very forgiving, however.. Bought my Ping G400 3 metal SFT with my Ping G400 driver SFT. Both are very forgiving, however, the driver feels like butter and sounds even better. The 3 metal feels harsh and sounds like an aluminum bat, very irritating. Liked my G20 3 metal much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome perfomance Great Woods! I have a complete set of Callaway hybrids that I love. I want to get a set of Fairway woods . I studied Callaway, Taylormade and Ping options. Went to Chris Cote's golf shop and they helped me out. We figured out pretty quickly that the Ping's were pretty much made for me as I hit them extremely well. I was clobbering the number 3 right off the floor with ease. I went for the SFT models too. Shots and dispersion were excellent. This is a major accomplishment by Ping. Cannot say enough about these. They are amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from G400 Five Wood is Awesome Took G400 fairway 5-wood out on course last week and found that I hit the ball about 20 yards beyond my previous distance. Much better than the Callaway Epics that used to be my all-time favorite fairway woods. After experience with 5-wood, I decided to purchase a G400 3-wood and hope to test it today.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Ping fairway yet Purchased the 3 wood along with the G400 Max driver in 10.5. Didn't miss a shot on Saturday with the 3 wood. Straight and far. Same as the driver. Highly recommended!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My NEW Driver Hit this club at a local demo...WOW...Consistently hit it longer and straighter than the G400 and TM M4 Drivers. Bought one and put in the bag and hit it as my driver. Best club off the tee I have ever hit. Well over 280 off the tee and I am 65.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great playable woods I have 3,5,7 and 9 fairway woods and love them. I like the shallow face and the ease of alignment. I previously had g series hybrids that I didn’t like. Got the 5 and loved it and then decided to get the 7 and 9. I didn’t realize until I used them was these were too close in loft. Instead of being 20.5 my 7 is 22.0. The 9 is 23.5 as per specs. As a result I don’t use the 9 as it’s too close to the 7. Can someone explain why my 7 is 22 degrees and not 20.5 as per the specs?
