Ping G400 Sft 3 Wood

I bought this club (Ping g400 sft 3 wood) a about 4 weeks ago. It is a very good club. However, I thought it came with a headcover. But realized later after I received it that it did not. It was a demo. However, I would think that Golf Galaxy could provide a headcover for it just out of courtesy, since have have over the year purchased a number of products (items) at Golf Galaxy and Dick Sporting Goods. I would be very nice to have a headcover to help protect the club.

Great Club - Changed My Game Completely

I recently bought this to replace an older 3 wood I had in the bag and I'm very impressed with the performance of this club. Hitting the ball longer and straighter almost immediately and can now get much closer on those par 5s. Give it a try!

Feel, Distance, And Flight Were The Best

The Flight and accuracy were the best in many years. Nice feel off the face and distance was very acceptable. I am a 12 Handicap and 73 years old. Only recently switched to Ping G400 Driver and woods.

Awesome Feel

I got this 3W SFT a week ago after a tryout at a local authorized retailer. I ended up getting a fitting and decided to trade up from the G 3W. I used it for the second time yesterday on a round with some coworkers/friends. Here is my take on the G400 3W, I used it on short dog legs of the tee, long par 3's and obviously on fairways. Of the tee, I noticed a higher launch, straighter flight and the ball landing softly. On fairways, I would have misses to the right (push fades), as well on tee shots. On long Par 5's with the 3W SFT, I noticed a slight fade, with distance while still landing on the fairway and short of the green. My game has improved by shooting a lower score (5 strokes less) with this SFT model. My confidence is up, feels good all around the "Full Swing". I highly recommend to get fit for the right shaft and model for the G400 SFT - 3W.
