The G430 MAX 10K is PING’s straightest and highest MOI driver to date, eclipsing the 10,000 g-cm2 combined moment of inertia threshold first surpassed by the G400 MAX five years earlier. Three main visible technologies and differences distinguish the G430 MAX 10K: A fixed back weight, a larger head profile, and a Carbonfly Wrap on the crown.

The fixed back weight allows for the record-setting MOI as it drives mass down and back to increase forgiveness and optimize the center of gravity position, lowering spin and ensuring ball speed preservation across the clubface for added distance. The heavier backweight (28g) is in part achieved by weight savings of 5g from the carbon crown (13g fully installed) to create a powerful combination of accuracy and distance to meet the performance needs of all golfers -- from tour professionals to everyday golfers.

The shallower and thinner forged face is optimized for more flexing to ensure faster ball speeds and relies on Spinsistency, a variable roll radius innovation, to optimize spin across the face for added distance.

PING’s biggest head profile to date maximizes the USGA-allowable heel-toe and front-back dimensions while staying within the 460cc volume limit. This eye-pleasing shape helps square the golfer to the target and inspires the confidence to hit longer, straighter tee shots.

The Carbonfly Wrap also helps produce a slightly louder, less muted impact experience in the larger profile head.

Fairway Finder

I always love a Ping driver but this one is amazing. I’m currently at a 4 handicap. While I could game a different brand and get a couple extra yards, I’ll take the steady distance and fairways all day. Almost impossible to miss hit this club. Great balance and weight.

Not A Ping Driver Guy

I was deciding between the ping g430 max 10k and the Taylormade QI30 max and chose the ping. Horrible decision. Can’t stand the sound on contact and it must have affected my swing. Could not hit it for the life of me. Had it for two weeks. Had 3 rounds and 3 range sessions with it. That was enough. Luckily Dicks has a great satisfaction return policy. Ended up going with the Titleist GT2 after swinging it and the Taylormade in their simulator. Haven’t looked back!

No Adjustment Wrench

Bought this club brand new and it had remaining tape on the head due to someone hitting it and the plastic wrap was torn. Also did not come with the adjustment wrench that drivers should come with.

Absolutely Love My New Ping G430 Max 10k Driver

Absolutely love my new Ping G430 Max 10K Driver! This is an unbelievable club! Drivers aren’t supposed to be the most accurate most consistent and most reliable clubs in your bag! But this club is! This club is the now the club I have the most confidence in! Thanks to Mike at the Athens Ga Dicks for a great fitting session and putting me onto this club! Couldn’t be happier!

Horrible. The shaft Broke in half after two times playing with it. I went to the store to get fixed. They said they submitted for a replacement with Ping on Sept 9. I called a dicks associate and they told me it was still backordered. Note: this is past a month that the associate said it would be fixed. I then called Ping. Note : i called them. They told me the issue was with a software glitch not a backordered issue. They said they would send the replacement immediately. I called the assocaite at Dicks to tell them it was in its way. They later called me and said they were taking a shaft from another club. In addition - Ping told me the order was not placed on Sept 9th. This is all crazy. Why didnt Dicks just replace the shaft right away and make me wait six weeks. Note; this club cost 500.
