Great Irons

Played a few rounds with these and they're awesome. So light and added probably 20 yards to my swing.

Oh What A Feeling

I have been playing with my Green dots for a year now, and I can honestly say after many-many rounds, there is no comparing these irons to any others I have used in the past. These far exceeded my expectations with distance and feel. Experiencing that perfect strike feeling over and over, has improved my game not only on the score card, but has given me the confidence needed to execute shots I would never have attempted in the past. Oh, and did I mention the sound. That sweet sound the club striking the ball combined with the look and feel. I doubt I will play another set of irons again. Thank you PING!!!

Nice Clubs But Quality Slipping

I have been a Ping user for over 20 years. When it came time to get new irons there was little chance I was going with anything else. Have seen some reviews about workmanship slipping but ordered i525 custom built 4-UW without much hesitation. In the month I have had them I have really enjoyed them but on my third range session the head on my 4 iron just flew off. After retrieving it from out in the the range (how embarrassing!) it appears that the shaft was not appropriately sanded and very little epoxy was used when the head was attached to the shaft. I hope that this does not occur on the rest of the set. Since the club is so new, the club is on its way back to Ping to inspect and fix.

Very Dissapointed

I purchased these clubs last year after getting fitted at a local store. I have been playing the game for 34-years now and I can honestly say these clubs have started to fall apart. The first incidences were some loose ferrule's, which, is no big deal but I still had to pay to get them fixed. Now, mind you this happened within the first few months of owning them. The newest problem has been the club head (on some of my clubs) has began to come loose from the shaft. Thankfully, none of the heads have broken off but I still can't use them until I get them fixed. So now, I'm down a 5 and 8 iron when I play. This is very disappointing because I always take my time to select a club after doing my research and test driving them. Every club set I own, which includes my first of Sam Snead Blue Ridges, is still in good shape. No loose ferrules, no loose clubheads and one set of Titleist 690MB's has seen me through countless tournaments and rounds. Still, no damage from poor manufacturing. Maybe this is just the new reality we live in. Since most things are manufactured to such poor standards these day's but I expected more from a company that has always turned out phenomenal products. I will be shelving these irons and now will hunt for some other set not named Ping.
