Compact At Address, Forgiving Overall.

Very player-like irons with good forgiveness, especially on toe hits. Great feel. The tech is advanced and under appreciated. I think this iron got a bad rap for not being a player's distance iron. It seems Ping has moved on -- BUT we need this type of iron with more distance. My son uses my 5-PW and he loves them. I need more help with distance as a senior, and he doesn't need that help.

A Definite Upgrade

As an iBlade user for the last 8 years, these i59 irons are a definite upgrade. Following a custom fitting on a previous PING day at my club, I have just purchased a set of 3-PW which look simply stunning with excellent feel and consistency. With an 80-85mph iron swing speed, they are perfectly matched with the True Temper Elevate 95 MPH regular flex shafts. During my first round with the clubs on a cold and breezy day, they performed well with distances comparable, if not slightly longer, than my iBlades. They were very forgiving all across the face. Feel was superb from flushed shots and the look at address was very confidence inspiring. The iBlade was a great iron, but these are better.

A Little Disappointed By These Irons

I bought these irons last season and I’ve tried my absolute best to make them work and I have yet to do so. I’m a scratch golfer and find it difficult to flight these irons down. Back to my old pings. Really wish I could have made these work because they were expensive
