A little bit of a hiccup at trying to start it.Once I opened booklet on how to start it it was excellent. Heat Hog Rules when you're in need of heat Performance is Great so far. Don't know yet on how long fuel uses. Experimenting on hose adapter I purchased as well. I got 1-Gallon plus bought a 30lb tank.Can't wait too hook up heat Hog to 30llb bought. Will give a update on that.Heat Hog is the best portable heater ever purchased. Thanks.

Maybe I got a bad one, but not impressed at all. Pilot lights good, burners take a long time and one barely glows. Got gassed out first time using. Tried different hoses, tanks, same thing. And when it's really cold, the knob is really sticky and can't turn it. Hooked up my 10 year old big buddy and worked great. Guess this will get returned for another buddy heater..

2nd Chance

Bought this unit a week ago...would have gotten 1 star but since they're replacing no questions asked, they get 2 stars. Pilot will not stay lit on high after only 5-10 minutes. will run on medium but pilot will eventually fail too. Not ok on an all day sit in a portable fish house when its 5 degrees and breezy out. tried multiple hoses, multiple 20# tanks, multiple environments, checked all connections...still failed. Will try the replacement unit and see how it goes. if it acts up, back to the old Sunflower heater it is.
