Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great deal for a great tackle box I saw the plano tackle box in the store for $42- I had to check with a floor stock person to confirm the price as I was sure that it was a mistake. I had seen products like this for more than 2 or 3 times the price. There was only one on the shelf so I grabbed it and spent the evening transferring materials and equipment to it from my other two tackle boxes. It held all of my gear with space to spare. There is a large top compartment that holds real size tools and four different levels for lures with movable dividers. I have them designated by type: Spoon lures, Flys, Soft and Crank bait lures. There is even a section (quick access) in the lid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Should have listened to the reviews I read the reviews before purchasing this and about three of them mentioned the poor handle design and how easily the handle can come out of the holes where the ends go. I have another big Plano box, full of stuff and very heavy and I don't see how the handle could come out of that box, so I took the reviews with a grain of salt. The tackle box was delivered in a much larger cardboard box and when I went to lift it out by the handle, guess what. The handle came out on one side and the tackle box fell back into the shipping box. There it stayed and it went back to the store.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible handle design The lid has groves the tabs on the end of the handles are supposed to ride in work great till you have tackle in the box and one side will pop out of the grove allow g the handle to pop off dumping gear all over the place because when it hits the ground the latch that holds the top shut pops out of the cheap holes that geep it on. Very very poor design. Best case this is a $20 box no where near $50. It's going back!!! What ever happened to quality at a REASONABLE price?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good price for a large tackle box The top opens to a compartment large enough to store several large fishing items such as tools, a bag of bobbers, measuring tape, scale (more than enough room for the average fisherman). The four pull out clear plastic cases have customizable compartments to fit large and small lures, hooks, weights, etc. All compartments snap closed tight. There is a 13 inch ruler printed into the front on the bottom to easily measure your catch. A little large if you have to hike long distances to get to your fishing hole. I carry mine about a mile to where I fish with no problem. Good deal for the price compared to others.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor handle design will fail Beware of the poor handle design. It easily comes off. If this happens the box falls to the ground and the plastic shatters. Mine fell on my foot as was exiting a boat. I lost several hundred dollars worth of tackle into the ocean, got bruised up and was very frustrated. The newer Plano boxes have a good handle attachment. I'd advise taking a hard look in a store at the handle and see how easy it is to take off. This is too bad as the design of the rest of the box is good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No customer support This tackle box holds a lot of stuff. If you buy extra trays you can fish for different species. My latch fell off while on my boat and went overboard. I e-mailed customer service to ask if I can buy a replacement latch . Never received a reply.I wont buy another one because of this It is suppose to have a lifetime warranty.but what good is it if they don't return your e-mails

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Time Will Tell This product replaces a 20+ year-old Plano Brown/Tan 4-Drawer box. I like the ability to swap out utility boxes as fishing situations change and there's plenty of room in the top compartment for reels, spare line, and tools. Three things I miss that the older box has are a place keep tools handy on the outside, removable dividers in the top compartment, and the ability to stack with other Plano boxes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great With My Raspberry Pi I used this tackle box my Raspberry Pi (a credit card sized computer) and all the electronics parts I use for prototyping stuff. The little cubby holes work great for holding resistors, cables and other electronic items. The big flat opening in the top works great for spreading out my latest Raspberry Pi project including the Pi itself, a bread board (the kind you put electronic parts in) and assorted other parts. I use Velcro to hold everything in place.I've heard these boxes can also be used for holding fishing equipment.
