I was really looking forward to getting the Bow Flex select tech weights. Finally got the money together, and the kid at the store said to check out power block. At first I looked and said no. I took a closer look at both and found the power block exceeded bow flex in every category: 1 No moving parts to fail 2 No plastic parts to break 3 felt better in hands 4 more compact not bulky 5 faster to change weights Compare for yourself, you should come to the same conclusion

Get The Job Done

Good set of dumbbells that replace what would have been a lot of weights. Good, compact design means they don't take up a lot of space in a small home gym, which is great as that's what I've got. Comfortable to hold for me (I have small hands) and easy to use to change weights. I got these specifically because they offer 2.5lb increments across the weight spectrum: especially as you go up in weights, sometimes adding 5lbs per hand can feel like just too much for me, so the 2.5lb option was fantastic. That said, they are a bit on the pricey side: more so than the other options, and they're not expandable, unfortunately. I knew that when I bought them, and I don't think it'll be an issue for me for a while, but it is something to consider before purchasing.
