Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerblock classic 50 Plus and 20lbs. kit Excellent product, always wanted these and finally pulled the trigger on vacay in Vegas during Black Friday 2012. They feel really good in hands, balanced, slight rattle, but you get used to it. I had the old Quick Change Ironmasters and these are bar none faster to change especially with doing p90x or Body Beast programs. My advice is to spend more and get more, definitely worth it, just bought the compact stand and can't wait to use it, I have them slightly raised on a stepper and the stand will be the perfect height and will save your back in the long run, I positively recommnd this system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pricey, but works very well Good: Works very well, good quality, can fold up and tuck out of the way if you need it to. Bad: A little expensive for some place just to set your weights. Ugly: Nothing bad to say here. It works well and is the right height to set your power blocks. Even has a section for holding the inner weights when you have them out of the power block. If you can live with the weights on your floor, and don't mind bending over to pick them up, or you have a table you can set them on, you probably don't "need" this. If you got the money to spare, it works very well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Stand, but won't support 70lb U-90s (Stage 2 Kit) Just opened this stand up, and although they do mention it is only a 50lb kit, some of the reviews say that it will support more. However, I just got the urethane Powerblocks, the U90 at the stage 2 kit, 70lbs, and the last plate sits off the edge so that when you take the previous plate off it falls over. Also, the metal bar inserts from the handle are a bit smaller than the holes in the stand, so they do tip over, but look to be sturdy.Other than that, a great stand for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Little Stand, Can Actually Hold Classic 90 Set! I went to Dick's looking for a pair of PowerBlock Classic 50 dumbbells and this compact stand, and got more than I bargained for! Turns out, PowerBlock has a Classic 90 dumbbell set, which I more than happily purchased instead (I was going to buy the 20 lb expansion kit anyway for the Classic 50, so why not?). I thought that maybe this stand wouldn't hold 90 lbs per dumbbell, but there, right on the box, it states that it can! I took the stand out of the box, threw the PowerBlocks on there and went to work! The stand is large enough to fit the extra length of the weight plates, and there is no overhang on the sides as well. If you were thinking about getting the heavier Powerblocks but were worried that the stand can only hold 70 lbs per dumbbell, fear no more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look no further This stand is perfect. Lightweight yet sturdy, whipped it right out of the box and was good to go. Comes with these handy adhesive grip pads so your weights don't slide around. I have classic power block 45s. Takes up minimal space; I keep it in a cramped room and fits no problem. My back and my wallet thanked me personally.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for. I was looking for a stand to go with my new PowerBlocks with the weight in the handles. The stand has center holes to accept the adder weights. The sizing is fine and stable, better than picking off the floor. This is easier to move than the fixed base, as I will need to move when space is needed. This was a perfect match.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds 70 lbs per hand, not just 50 I just got the 50lb Powerblocks with the 20lb add-on weights from this site, and they were giving this stand away for free with the purchase of the weights if you ordered online. (Basically to counter the shipping costs, IMHO.) I asked in store if they would match the free stand offer and they told me that the web site is seperate, and offers their own pricing and promos. Anyway - the description for the stand here and on the powerblock website says this tray will support "up to 50 lbs per hand", which had me a little concerned because the adder weights take the set from 50 up to 70lbs per hand. But when the tray arrived, printed on the outside of the box from powerblock, it says in big bold letters that the stand can accomodate up to 70lbs per hand. So you should be good to go with this stand and the 20lb add-on set. Since I was looking all over for this info and couldn't find it anywhere, I figured I would share it here in case it helps someone else out when they are deciding whether or not to order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just What I Wanted This stand was exactly what I wanted. It came in a box fully assembled. All I had to do was pull it out of the box and open it up just like a TV tray. This stand is very sturdy and has a small footprint. This stand was perfect for my Gold's Gym 25# Adjustable Dumbbell set, too.
