My child put a soccer ball sized hole in the net the first week. He’s 10 and it wasn’t the hardest shot. Beware if purchasing for older kids.

Cheap Straps And No Customer Support From Dicks
Straps broke about a year into use from a kicked soccer ball, which is the entire point of a soccer net. Cannot find the manufacturer anywhere online, called DICK'S customer support, and they had no contact information either.

Throw Away The Instructions, Do This Instead.
First, the instructions are terrible. B&W pictures that are impossible to make sense of. But also, this never would have worked for us because we don't have hard packed soil. So I recommend doing this instead. 1. Buy two ground screws for flag poles or umbrellas. I used DAKEPOLE but there are others. Use this instead of the metal spikes. 2. Buy some 1" PVC (interior pipe). Cut two lengths of a few feet or so. Put these inside the ground screws so they stick out a foot or so. 3. Put the two rebounder poles on the PVC pipes. Done. You might not even need to stake down the side poles.

Challenging Overall
I went with this version over the Open Goal model. Instructions were horrible. They are written in black and white with little guidance. The net does not stand perfectly. Overall the stakes should be longer and go deeper into the ground. Poles fall during high winds. I don’t recommend purchasing it.
