Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product Save One Small Problem This is a good portable soccer goal. It is easy to set up and breakdown. I use the goal frequently for goalkeeper training with my sons. We are able to shoot on net and also use it as an obstacle to clear balls over on goal kicks. The only problem that I've experienced with the net is that the push down knob on the bottom left hinge will not fully engage. This currently isn't a huge issue because the tension in the rods keep the goal frame shape but could potentially become a long term problem if/when the rods are no longer able to maintain that tension.I would buy the product again despite this one issue hence the good but not excellent rating.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Goal While It Lasts We had purchased on Black Friday for our son's Christmas gift. Was not able to actually play with it until the Spring 5 months later since it gets so cold in Colorado Springs. Assembly was relatively easy, but extending frame is really an issue (otherwise the net sags). In hopes of extending the nets life (not leaving in the direct elements), the net was folded up and stored in the outdoor shed. Next Spring, brought the net back out and in the process of extending the bars, the net separated around the bottom back brace. Appeared the net had gotten brittle. In short, the net lasted for one season and was only a year and a half old, so outside manufacture's warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slightly Damaged, But Great Goal for the Price! Great goal. I work for a sports league and we use these same style goals, but a pricier brand. I'm a poor college student, but I also play soccer, so I bought one for myself to use at home. Since I already knew how to set these types of goals up, that wasn't too bad. Keep in mind I'm a 5'7" skinny girl, if I can put this up, you can too. The metal bar in the back was slightly dented when I unpackaged this, however so far it has not impacted play. I really can't complain for the price, though. Had $20 off $100, so I grabbed some M&M's at checkout and off I went with a great deal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Read this if you set it up and looks bad - net sags, wrong length For all the people complaining about the net sagging and disappointed in its looks, the problem is not the product but the way your setting it up. I should know because I returned this product twice thinking it was manufacturing putting the right size net on s smaller frame. You can even check this by measuring the length. If your measuring 9 ft your making same mistake as me. Directions are not so clear but if u take a closer look at the base frame it makes sense. After step 1 when you fold out the 2 arms to make it one straight long bar take w look under the white netting that the square bar is snaked through. Before folding out the arms to make the L shape at the corners just pull/extend each side of the base. You will start extending it another few feet on each side. Then fold out the 2 arms to make the L on each side. Poor clarity on their part but after 2 returns and measuring base is not full 12 I figured to look under the white sleeve to see what's hiding. Sure enough I seen another slot for a popup pinto go into. Hope this helps! My 3 sons (9, 6, and 18 months) are finally loving it 2 months after getting it for xmas.!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor setup instructions. One of the other reviewers has a great point about the setup instructions. I have a degree in mechanical engineering and was unable to correctly setup the net. There was a huge sag in the cross length of the net and an upset son who was ready to shoot the ball. The bottom cross bar must be fully extended for the net to setup correctly. The sheath to the net covers up the pin holes along the bottom frame. Slide the extra sheath along the frame and extend the cross bar until the pins are set in the pin holes. Then continue with instructions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Goal Ever I am on my second one of these goals, I should have learned the first time. Please do not waste your money on this goal. plastic pieces that hold the poles in the bottom front break and you cant find replacement parts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product for a great price Great product for a great price. I use this to run soccer clinics. I am able to run 5v5 up to 7v7. It's reasonably easy to set up though it requires a little more work than just a pop up. Be sure to weight it down in case of wind or strong shooters. Don't let it fall on your foot when packing up or taking it out. It hurts. Otherwise if you are a coach who is looking to be able to train on the move, this would be a great asset to you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Affordable SOCCER NET and DON'T BE FOOLED!!! I purchased this soccer net yesterday. A couple things. The store sells this net for $149.99 and they were running a 20% off deal. I purchased this net adding a 1 year insurance plan getting the net for $141.00. I got the net home and was disappointed until I did my research finding this net comes with poor instruction and the bottom bar extends. I was about ready to return this net to buy a higher quality net until reading further. Don't get tricked this net is a great net for the price. I hope the Dick's Sporting Good Staff is aware of this problems because I do know the kids in my town working at this store do not have an idea of this problem.Janesville, WI
