I have to be honest, I haven't used this plate yet, however, it appears well constructed with high quality materials. I purchased this so my son can practive his pitching over a plate.

Better Than Floppy

Prefect. Great Investment.
I've had this home plate 3 years. I bought a second one to leave in the back yard. I've been bringing the home plate to the rec league batting cages. My primary use for them is for the players to learn spacial awareness when they approach the plate. It also helps me call balls and strikes as the pitcher. It's a great investments that has lasted years.

Serves It's Purpose.
I play in a 35 and over baseball league and I started the season 0-15, which was disappointing because last year I hit pretty well. I bought a batting tee and a net so I could practice hitting in my back yard. When I set up the tee I realized there was no home plate to place the tee on. Thankfully, Dicks was close by. I drove to Dicks, purchased this home plate, practiced, and the next day I got a hit. Overall, I finished with four hits in my last 13 at bats and I am certain it was because of this homeplate.
