Nice Bases, Slippery At First

These are nice quality bases. Heavy but durable. There is an oily residue on them when they first arrive. I tried cleaning it off with Clorox wipes but it didn't come off completely. Some of the residue got on the living room floor and it was slippery for a couple days. We left the bases outside during a rainstorm and that ultimately got rid of any trace of the residue. Smooth sailing after that.
