I bought this string mainly because it was on sale - and Dicks' provides a great purchasing experience. I have played with it probably 5 times so far and it is a solid string, with no signs of wear. I may break down and get a 17 gauge string next time, expecting more pop off the strings, but not to last as long.

An Easy Go-to
Prince Synthetic Gut w/ Duraflex 16G has long been a go-to string for the crosses of my tennis racket, as it has for many others. The Duraflex helps to add durability, and the 16 gauge gives me just what I'm looking for without getting too much of anything. Best paired with a poly or co-poly in the mains, in my experience. If a firmer main, note that this string is going to be much softer than it, and string the crosses higher poundage (~2lbs) as such.
