Rated 1 out of 5 by from Short life Bought these in late January 2017. Early April already have a leak. Had them on 6-8 times. Short walks from the car and then in a pond for about 1-2 hours. One of the boots has a leak below the knee at a fold. Took them back to Dick's but would not replace or refund. Called Pro Line on both phone numbers provided, phones do not work. Tried to email with the problem but the web site also does not work. Very short life before developing a leak. Would NOT buy again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worked great for a year then the rubbber started to crack I bought these a little over a year ago for shallower water when I did not want my full waders. I liked these for awhile. The soles were good and they held up well climbing around rocky river banks etc. however today didn't look closely when I started out but as the day progresses my legs were getting colder than the river water might suggest. I felt my legs getting wet I noticed the rubber had developed numerous cracks. They were always hung dry from boot hangers . The price was great and for the first year they performed well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These hip waders work as advertised They are good water proof hip waders that I will use for fountain cleaning work. However, the inner cotton lining on the right boot had come away from the wall in several spots and on the left boot, the straps were too wide for the loops and are fraying at the edges before my first use.Instructions for the first time hip wader user might be helpful as well.QA didn't reach these boots. Overall, they will do what I need them to do, especially as I will not be using them to fish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Moderately-Priced Hip Wader I use them 1-2,times a week in salt water. Good quality at a moderate price compared to other styles. If you want them to last, definitely wash off with light soapy water and treat with Armor All or similar conditioner after each use. If you don't do that, the rubber will dry out and fall apart in a year or two. Also avoid storing in a hot vehicle for best longevity.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor performance I got my waders for Christmas and before Halloween they were leaking. They held up for about 10 uses. Not a good value for me--the rubber cracked in a few places and that was it. They were stored in the garage out of sunlight and they still broke down

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubber cracked in 5 months Used for vernal pool dip netting. The flex point at the front of the foot developed multiple cracks and leaked (on both boots) at the same time. Got about 5 months of using them one day per week. The rubber is either of poor quality or too thin at this point of high stress. On the plus side they are lightweight. They also leaked right off the bat at the rivets up at the top of the waders. So if you push the depth to a couple inches from the brim you will get a bit wet, but that's forgivable. The failure was not.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought these boots last season to fish for trout in my local Western New York streams. I usually fish four days a week, five hours a day, from April thru July. I'm a slightly below average height man and follow the provided care instructions to include minimizing bending or folding the rubber by hanging them when not in use.The rubber appears to be thick but small leaks started to develop along the seams after just three weeks. After another three weeks, bigger leaks started to develop along the top of the reinforced kneepad areas. In their second season, major cracks have developed anywhere slack develops while walking the banks to get to the fishing holes.I suppose this could have been prevented had the company warned me walk any distances, kneel to keep a low profile on a high bank when the water is too deep, take large steps down from the bank to enter the water, or if the straps had snaps that might secure them snugly in place. If you're of average height or taller and don't plan to do any of the things I just listed, these might be the right boots for you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaked The second time I wore these waders the right shoe leaked at the heel on the bottom and the left shoe had a slow leak as well. Last years pair lasted several months but did not make a second season.
