Didn't Work Out Of The Box
I'd heard good things about profishincy so I jumped at the chance to get this for my son as his first rod. Almost right away it started backlashing and getting caught in the bottom of the reel. Tried to return it but Dick's said since it had been used they wouldn't take it back. Save yourself the trouble and get an ugly stick.

Good For The Money
The pole is good but confusing for a newbie to string. There was a lot of backlash constantly. There were no real instructions so my son had to watch a lot of videos to try and figure it out.

Broke After First Cast
Bought on monday, took my son fishing on Tuesday, first cast started reeling in and handle snapped right off, complete garbage, ruined our fishing trip.

Awesome Beginner Rod
