Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed...and out $600 I had a dry bag from another manufacturer that I used for many years for boating, kayaking, rafting and scuba diving. I never had a problem with it. It successfully kept the contents dry and enabled them to be secured to a boat. Unfortunately, one of my kids lost it last summer. When I went to replace the bag this spring I thought the viewing window on the Quest Dry Bag was ingenious. I used it rafting once and sadly, this bag proved it is not waterproof nor water resistant. The poor manufacturing of this product resulted me in having to replace a phone (at full cost, of course...).Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In Quest I Trust I'm a freelance writer whose assignment was to review a Kayak tour on the May River in Bluffton, SC. I knew that I'd need my camera for photographs, but was concerned about keeping my equipment safe on the two hour tour. I purchased a Quest Dry Bag and couldn't have been happier. Not only did it protect my equipment, but it was easy to get in and out of and performed as advertised. It was so user-friendly that I'm planning to phase out my old compression sacks and replace them with the various sized Quest Dry Bags. I know that I have found a product that I can trust for years to come. Kudos to a job well done! - CK

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good bag, good price I bought this bag for a kayak trip down the Yough river. I did not use this for blankets or sleeping gear, being a one day trip, but rather used it for keeping our cell phones and snacks dry as well as a towel. I kept this bag close to me so it was being constantly dripped on from my paddle. This bag held up well with not a drop inside. By the end of the trip, it was laying in a large puddle of muddy water and still dry as a bone inside. The top folds down to a nice handle for carrying and has a ring that I hooked my water bottle to for easy carry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked great! I have used this bag often for kayaking but last weekend I took it on a tubing adventure down a river. I rolled the bag a few times and attached it to the handle of my tube. The seat of my tube was mesh netting so the bag was constantly floating in a few inches of water. I had my keys, phone, and other valuables in it which stayed dry the whole two hours down the river. At one point during some rapids my tube flipped over and the bag was under water for a good 30 seconds...not one drop of water got in!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from "puddle bag" is a better description Bag was kept in a bin on our last boat trip, some rain water got into the bin, and now I need a new phone. Filled the bag with water afterwards and found a hole where the sides of the bag are connected to the bottom piece. Very disappointed--was a great price and size..if only it hadn't been poorly manufactured

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked like a charm I am an Open Water SCUBA diver and needed a bag that could keep my clothes and personal items dry. The Quest Dry Bag has a really tight seal and fit everything I brought on my dive trip. The bright green made it really easy for me to locate the bag among all the other equipment and gave my equipment a colorful splash. I feel I might have been better getting a larger size instead of the 5-gallon size, but the dry bag was still fabulous!
