The bag is marked “10 degree” rated. I believe it, if they mean Celsius and not Fahrenheit. It doesn’t keep me any warmer than my 50 degree bag made by another company, but it’s twice as heavy and packs down to more than 4 times as large. I’ve spent several nights in 35-40F weather in this bag, and they were the coldest, most miserable nights of camping that I’ve ever experienced. If there’s a plus side, it’s that all the extra bulk makes a comfier sleeping situation. The zippers constantly catch on the material as you open and close them, and the chintzy zipper tab broke when the zipper stuck. So if you are more concerned about saving money than warmth, space, weight, or quality, this sleeping bag is for you. Otherwise spend just a bit more and get something of quality. Thank goodness they were a gift and we didn’t waste any of our money on them.
