These held up nicely in Colorado! No issues to complain about! Will be packing them to take to Utah for our next trip!

Highly Recommend - Could Not Be More Pleased!
I bought this a week ago and did a 10 mile walk that included inclines and declines. This is my first pair of trekking poles and could not be more pleased. I adjusted the tightness of each clamp using the screw provided in each so that it required significant pressure to close each clamp. Saw a review noting the poles shortened while walking and others noting need for pliers. I am guessing they tried to tighten the screws after clamping as opposed to adjusting the screws then closing the clamps. The height of both poles did not change even by a little over the 10 miles. It was just 10 miles and the tips (removed the rubber covers of course) show no sign of wear. Temperature was around 90 and cork handles were also great for handling sweat on hands. No slipping or discomfort on the grips. It is first pair of poles but weight of poles seemed light and easy to manage.

Stability I Didn’t Know I Needed
Because of an autoimmune disease my joints are falling apart. I still stay active and keep moving and opted to buy these poles for a hike. After reading trail reviews I thought it would benefit me on some rocky terrain for extra stability and they did! I’m quiet please. They were comfortable and easy to collapse when not in use. Highly recommend!

Not Good If You Add Pressure
They work great if you just like to hike normal trails but if you hike any trials with incline or decline they dont hold up. When adding pressure to them if you're going up or down the poles shorten even after you tighten them.
