Many Holes After 8 Trips Down The Rivers

I purchased this kayak last in 2024 and within 4 trips I was plastic welding the holes. Currently have 6 different plastic welds because of leaks from kayaking down the Huron river. We also bought the Endeavor I believe it’s called and that one is holding up great. I would not recommend going to any river system with shallow waters and any type of rock or debris. Very stable, tracks ok, dry pack in front gets wet, great for lakes or deeper waters or maybe fishing. But I’d recommend the slightly thicker plastic Quest Endeavor. Just ordered an old town loon for a replacement since I don’t think it’ll make it through its second season (8 trips down the rivers total)

Perfect First Yak

Great first kayak it’s very comfortable maneuverable light and stable. The fishing rod holders are also a great bonus and there’s plenty of space to work. I’d buy this kayak again no problem and since it’s plastic it’s very easy to install a fish finder. I weight 185 pounds and it has no problem hauling me around. My friend have sit on styles and they are a bit quicker than I can go so don’t expect to get anywhere too fast.
