Sturdy And Comfortable, But Heavy...

This is a good beginner to intermediate-level kayak, which I got on sale. I bought it primarily for use on a nearby lake. My only criticism is that it's surprisingly heavy--much heavier than I anticipated--and since I'm only 5' tall, hosting this kayak up top my Jeep is nearly impossible when I'm traveling solo. It's heavy enough that I'm now considering replacing it with a lighter kayak. If you live on a lake and can store it by the water, the weight isn't as much of a big deal.

Awesome Kayak

These are the first kayaks we have owned and they have been awesome. They are a pretty good weight and very stable on the water. They also have good storage space to bring along all we need. Would highly recommend!

Highly Recommend This Yak!

This is an absolutely excellent kayak for beginners and seasoned kayakers alike. The width of the Passage offers exceptional stability, while its shorter length makes it easy to maneuver through both large and small bodies of water. The seat is surprisingly comfortable even when sitting for 3+ hours. Although this is not classed as an angler kayak, the built-in paddle keeper makes it easy to bring a rod and reel along if desired. The back scupper holes also fit my poles perfectly, so they may as well be flush mounted rod holders! My only qualm with this yak is the lack of storage/a dry well - if it had that, it would be the perfect yak. This has been a great purchase, and I love that it fits both myself (5'1") and my 30lb pup. It's also fairly light and not as much of a pain to lug around as I expected, which is a big bonus!
