Our First Kayaks

Overall we are very happy with this kayak. It is a good entry level kayak. The only small issue I have is one of the seat buckles keeps coming loose.

Good Kayak Except For The Seat Clips, Can Be Fixed

nice kayaks. Yes, the seat clips suck. mine are fine, my wife s left side clip came off our first trip out, poor injection molding on that part. there is a fix, i ran a wire tie (plastic tie wrap) through the two parts of the clip. its a tight fit but with a little effort you can feed it through. When the seat works, its really comfortable. would have given 5 stars but for the clips.

Great Lake Kayak

We previously owned an inflatable kayak and it sprung a leak. ha! New purchase...Quest Passage 100 Kayak. I love the color and ease of paddling. It has a nice backrest and I appreciate the variable foot rests. Great purchase!

Simple, Light And Stable

My family got into kayaking about a month ago. I bought this kayak for my nephew who is 19 and he love it! It is very stable and light weight. We took it out to a small river that has light class I and II rapids, it maneuvered with ease. It has enough room on the back for him to put his shoes and a dry bag, he has even carried a small cooler. Couldn't have asked for a better first kayak.

We took our brand new Passage 100s out for their inaugural voyage, but were quickly disappointed by the seat clips repeatedly disconnecting and causing the seat to fall back. It happened on both of our kayaks and we had to end out paddle early. We ultimately returned the kayaks to the store and switched to sit inside models, which don't rely on those poorly designed clips.
