Good For Sun. Bad For Rain.
I was expecting one day of scattered showers while I was camping for the weekend. I bought this for a little cover while cooking and eating at a picnic table. Set-up was fairly easy for one person. The cover fit well, albeit a little loose but nothing seemingly detrimental. The included stakes didn't give me much faith that they would work in any type of breeze or light wind so I used my own heavier stakes to secure the feet and keep it from blowing away. Everything looked great. The next day while away on a hike, there was a quick 10 min downpour followed by an extended period of light rain. Upon arriving back at camp I was met with a half collapsed pile of twisted metal and nylon. Apparently the cover was so loose that it allowed water to pool between the support structure. The weight of the water was too much and it collapsed. There were multiple failures along the folding supports that were riveted together. Had this been a torrential downpour or a catastrophic deluge I would be less surprised of the total structural failure. But this was only 10 minutes of a moderate shower followed by sustained light rain and misting. Winds were light and my site was fairly protected by treeline. Needless to say, diner time wasn't as dry and comfortable as I was hoping for with this canopy. The walk of shame to the dumpster with the busted mess of a canopy was only mildly embarrassing.

Great For The Price!
This is the second one I've purchased. I've had the first one for three years. It's easy to setup and light weight. It's not heavy duty so I wouldn't leave it out in high wind or stormy weather but it's great for camping and portable use.

You Get What You Pay For
Opened the box and one of the leg bases fell out, broken. Still usable, it provides shade but is cheaply made.
