Junk

I bought this tent a year ago. No issues the first time setting up quick and easy. The second time I set this tent up I was 6 1/2 miles in the forest and the smaller tent pole snapped. I always carry extra supplies so I was able to splint the pole so that it wouldn’t make a hole through the fabric. It still made an awkward shape, but it held my tent up. Cheap price for a cheap tent that could’ve made a backpacking trip absolutely horrendous if I hadn’t had a kit to repair especially seeing how it was the second time the tent was put up. Also, the capacity says two person, it’s a one person tent.

Quality Issues

Bought this tent on 08/16/2025. I had planned to use this for backpacking but after reading mixed reviews I wanted to test this tent out before trail use. I set this tent up behind my house on the afternoon of 8/17/25 to leave it up over night with no rain or wind forecasted. Upon checking the tent after arriving home on 8/18/2025 the fiberglass support pole at the front of the tent had snapped. Will be returning this product. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Would not allow me to add images.

Almost Ruined The Weekend

Shock Cord in the tent pole snapped after the first set up. Set up the tent in the backyard before I went camping to make sure it was all good. When I disassembled the tent the shock cord snapped. Didn't realize it until I was setting up my tent at the site. Very disappointed. If I did not have Gaffers tape I would have been ____ Out of Luck

Broke Almost Immediately

Broke almost immediately! Only used twice and the poles snapped. Should’ve read the reviews! Don’t waste time buying this and if you do, please don’t but the extended warranty. You won’t need it! You’ll be returning it within a month. It was the second tent I bought at dicks, same brand, same problem! Both broke on second use. Never buy this brand!

Old but not dead

I bought it and used it for two weeks in the wilderness. A pole split and two stake straps on the canopy frayed apart. And I can't get new parts. It was effective and easy to set up and withstood a lot but the material is not durable.

Great Trail Tent , You Won't Be Disappointed!

I recently purchased this tent for a 3 day hike. It was beyond my expectations. In 40 degree weather it performed perfectly. Simple set up, taken out of the bag it packed down even smaller, with the pole rolled onto my thremarest. I couldn't of been happier. Now the weather was great , so I can't speak on water resistance. But warm and roomy. I'm 5ft 8, plenty of space for my pack and me.

Please Don’t Buy This Tent

Yes it’s a very beautiful tent, but no the quality is extremely poor. I have extended experience in camping, but this is the worst tent I have ever used. The pole snapped easily, and Dick’s don’t have replacement parts for it. If you only want to use it for 20 min then go ahead. Otherwise it’s just a waste of money

Good Tent, 1 Flaw

Like the other reviews I read, the front post is the only problem. Mine lasted closer to a week, veggie it snapped in 2 places. Where mine snapped was basically right where it diaspora into the sleeve on both sides. They either need to use thicker fiberglass poles, or a completely different material. Instead of returning the tent, I sirens some aluminum pole I had for an old tent I had. Otherwise, good tent

Kept Me Dry But Broke

Easy to set up, only 2 poles. First time out a rainstorm came through. I stayed dry but one of the 2 poles broke. Dick’s has offered to replace it; seems wasteful and I have to drive out there again. You’d think they could just send you new poles.

Received incentive

Great Tent

A little weird to set up at first because stake location needs to be clear of roots and rocks, and it requires all 4 corner stakes to raise it soundly but very light and can be set up quickly if there's nothing in the ground to block the stakes. Prolly not a got tent for anywhere with a lot of rocks and roots.

This Tent Did Not Survive 10hours (Set Up)

My girlfriend and I were cooking outside of the tent, in the middle of our conversation we heard a snap. We turned around to see what it was. At first, I could not see what the noise was. Until, I looked at the sent and notice one of the pole snapped under normal tension. The worst part about it was getting it out and getting fiberglass all over my hands. The tent did not survive 10 hours.

Don’t Buy; Poor Material

Took it to Yosemite. Second night, I came back to camp and the pole by the feet broke. Just like the other reviews. Only lasted 1 night. I had a triangle shape by the feet for the rest of the nights. Poles are cheap plastic. Rainfly material is good. Returned as soon as I got back home.

Looks Great, Breaks Easy

Bought one of these tents for each of my two boys. Both small tent poles broke one on the first use, the second one on the second use. I would love to get replacement poles. It seems the smaller pole is too rigid for its thinness.

Rod Broke On First Use

Bought it last week, went camping this weekend. Worked great the first night. After the second night, I woke up and see the rod at my feed now shaped like a triangle. The rod is under too much tension and broke overnight.

It Broke!

I went back pack camping this weekend and had a great time until I was putting my tent apart and I notice one of the beams had just been snapped. For reference I’m 5’4” and there was plenty room for my feet where the beam that broke was. I was very gentle while putting together and taking apart my tent. I’m super upset it broke but I still loved my experience. I’m having trouble locating a replacement beam/rod so I don’t think I’ll get a second use out of my tent, super bummed :,(
