It gets the job done but i wouldnt recommend using for multiple nights in a row. Its also not as durable as it should be. Rocks and sticks may slowly tear it up depending how often you hike. The foam itself is thick enough to provide a good cushion, and for the price its really not terrible, just very bulky to carry around.

I was replacing another camp mat that I used as a layer of cushioning on a canvas army cot. It exceeded expectation because of the pleasing color. I needed it to camp across the front seats of a UHaul truck because of a recent long distance move. Not an ideal situation, but it helped, and I didn't have to stay in costly hotels every night. It will now go on a camp cot again along with other layers of cushioning.

The pad wasn’t as soft as we had anticipated it being. I’d be more likely to use it as a yoga mat than a sleeping pad.

Feels as thin as paper. No comfort at all. Useless!
