Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fractional plates make progressive resistance training As a Masters+ level beginner in lifting, I quickly found that progressions of 5 pounds per training session were a no go for me in several lifts. These fractional plates make incremental progressions as small as 1/2 of a pound simple and easy. They have kept me on track to maintain a goal of progressive resistance when I was unable to make a 5 pound jump.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is great for extra reps These smaller increment weights are perfect when you're trying to get an extra rep and can't go up 2 1/2 lbs or 5 lbs each repetition. You can mix and find the right combination for getting the extra reps.
