Not Made For Large Kayaks Or Heavy Kayaks

C-Tug is not made for wide or heavy fishing Kayaks. Kickstand is to flimsy to hold weight of heavy Kayak. Loading Straps are not able to hold kayak, so the kayak will slide off c-tug. An additional strap is needed to keep wide kayaks from sliding off the C-Tug. The kickstand will loosen so you will have problems getting the kayak loaded back onto the c-tug if/or when it slides off the C-Tug pads. The reason C-tug sells parts for the C-tug is because they break easily under heavy kayaks.

Work Well

Excellent for my Perception Pescador Pilot, it's light and has nice grip for the hull so it doesn't slip easily while pulling it, the straps are very good and easy to set up. The wheels will never go flat, and have a nice rubbery feel for good traction. It can hold a lot more weight than others so it's stronger.

I made my purchase as an alternative to a scupper hole kayak kart and I was glad I made this purchase. It takes a little time to get down the assembly and disassembly of the C-tug, but after a few drills, it assembles and disassembles in seconds.
