Rapala Digital Scale - Easy To Use - Reliable

I purchased this scale as a gift for my ice fishing buddy. we have found it to be easy to use and reliable. The scale is designed to fit in your coat pocket and the large hook makes using the scale a very quick operation. A fish can be removed from the scale without much harm and returned to the water quickly if necessary. It is also easy to read.

Need To Figure Out

Scale reeds in decimal which is hard to quick convert to lbs-oz there may be a way it’s got a lot of different things to it . It would probably be nice if I was in more tournaments

Not The Best Scale

I bought this a month ago and aren’t real happy with it because it’s tough to hang a live fish unless you use the gills, which I did a couple of times but stopped after one fish shook and tore his gill open

Not Accurate

Bought this not expecting it to be dead on but at least in ballpark. Yesterday weighed a Brookie at 1.43, so did not take it for Mass Pin fish award, weighed in at 2.0 on different scale 3 hours later.

Purchased this so I didn’t have to debate with people the weight of my fish. Just wanted something cheap and small. It works really well and it’s very durable. I recommend this to anyone as a need to buy.

Fish Tales

Replaced a 10 year old scale with this pocket scale. Always need proof with fishing buddies and this this fits right in any tackle box.

Slow

Slow to start/turn on; difficult to handle with active fish -- regardless of size. Difficult to keep hook under gill; would imagine with larger fish it would be very difficult to handle, prone to leap away

Bad Product

I bought this to weigh fish it wouldn’t even work power on out of packaging

Digital Numbers

The digital numbers is barely seen and the power button is kind of stuck
