Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where is the strike zone I purchased two of these because they claim they stay in the strike zone. I wanted them to use trolling for walleye, the 10 foot D - 10 &quot Crankbait is designed to dive to a pre-set depth and it stays in the "strike zone" longer than other crankbait models. &quot Well don't believe it at only 1 to 1.3 mph the strike zone went from 10 to 15+ feet. Did they stay in the zone longer, if you call passing it on there way to 15 to 17 feet. I lost one of the two first time out in just less than 15 feet of water to the bottom monster. Contacted Rapala and they said yes they can run that deep. Don't believe all that you read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Growing up I was fond of one Hardbait, crankbait, jerkbait etc. And it was Rapala, I was introduced to Rapala as a kid from a video game which featured an assortment and variety of diving, jerking, sinking baits which you easily maneuvered through the water. I was lucky enough to pick up some additional crankbaits during an amazing sale, and was pleased to relive my childhood memories of throwing all the DT series rapala crankbaits. From bluegill, baby bass to chartreuse and on and on with the variety. But overall Rapala produces amazing lures for amazingly affordable prices.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bass Product!! This lure is great!! I brought it out to a rockey output and cast it in the calm water and BAM got a fish. The only thing really bad about it is all the hooks it has. When you're trying to get one of the hooks off then another one gets caught. Although it's worth it for the fish you get. It really does work great even if you're not veary good at fishing, you can still use it. All you really have to do is reel in and wait for a bite and it truely does work great in rockey areas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SUPERB product!!! This CB has a tight wiggle pattern to it. Burn it for when the fish are active. Slow roll it when they're lethargic. This baits tight pattern drives them crazy. Casts amazing into the wind, just rips right through it. Really it's hard to throw a different CB after you use these. Very well made product, this CB stays true all the through the retrieve. Couldn't ask for a better product, no reason I personally see why you don't already have some. Start adding these to your lineup to catch more fish on those rough days.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I don't know what I am doinf Bought this to go bass fishing in February during some really nice weather. I put it in the end of my line and cast it out several times. It seemed to dive exactly as advertised. Now I didn't actually catch anything with it but who has success using a crank bait in February?Well maybe everyone does. Like I said I don't know what I am doing but I did catch a lot of fresh air, great scenery, and terrific conversation. Like they say a bad day fishing is better than the best day of work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great action and paint job I have used the DT 16 and DT 10 model crankbaits for a few years now and love the new Ikes custom colors. I have been very successful with the DT16 on deep points in both clear and murky water. I have caught several 4 to 5 pound Largemouth on this crankbait. Runs true but have had some problems with the bill breaking on some of the lures after just a few casts and not running into any hard structure. Rapala needs to beef it up a little. That is the only reason for the 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Crankbait for all depths wheather I'm fishing deep or shallow when I use a crankbait this is the only bait I use.I have different colors and patterns in my tacklebox but most of them are the DT-6 model which I can vary the depth by the speed of my retrieve. I have caught numerous Bass on the surface by just casting and slowly working it back to the boat so it remains on top of the water. After the top water action slows I vary the depth the lure runs by the speed I use. The type of fish I catch depends on the color of the lure; my favorite is a silver and black for Striped Bass and Largemouth, for Tigermuskies I use the red or orange. Most Northern Pike seem to prefer the green colors. These baits always run true out of the box and never need tuning unless I hook a fairly large fish, but then I'm more than happy to have to tune the lures.
