Bad Product

I purchase 2 of these one for RV & one for house in April. One just stopped and the other sounds like something is broke in side and sparking, I fillet redfish. There small knives are good for like white perch.

Great Knife And Smart Purchase!

I have been using electric knives for over 20 years and this is by far the best one I have owned and used. It cuts beautifully and lets you fillet lots of bass and crappie in less time than with the other electric knives. It cuts thru bones with ease. It is well worth the extra dollars it costs and I am sorry I only learned about it so late in life!

Heavy Duty Knife!

Ordered the Rapala Heavy Duty Electric Filet Knife on-line. It works like a charm with power to spare as advertised. I wore out the motor of the standard Rapala electric knife in about 2.5 years and 300 or so walleye. The Heavy Duty is a great knife! It didn't get 5-star because it is a bit bulky, the trigger is much more touchy than the standard, and it didn't come with its own hard case as the standard model did. Still - lots of power and cuts through the biggest walleye like butter!

Too early to review. Haven't been fishing yet. I have one electric fillet knife, and have had it for years. It works. It is just ok. I'm hoping this one will be everything the advertising and Rapala say it is.It would be much more convenient if it came with a case or a pouch.......some easy way to store the knife.
