Good Action

I purchased this lure in the perch pattern. It swims straight and true right out of the box and has great action. It's a nice alternative to throwing the non-jointed Shad Rap or typical crankbait. I'll buy more if I lose this one.

Rapala Always A Win

I own several of these. Caught numerous walleye on them. Jointed action gets lots of attention and the bright color helps in deep water, or muddyish water. These are a bit more cost wise, but it's a quality item.

Rapala, A Quality Unmatched!

Not only does this jointed crankbait look great, it gives lots of movement and dives deep to get those big fish. I had great luck on this lure all summer in the mississippi River. The hooks stay sharp and are strong.

Jointed Shad Rap

I buy these Jointed Shad Raps at DICK'S every year and they are great. I use them to troll for walleye and white bass. Both species really like the Purpledescent color. We also catch small mouth bass when trolling the JSR-5 jointed shad rap. I highly recommend these lures.

gave this to my grandson he caught 6 1/2 lber Big Bass on it ,I would recommend this lure to anyone needing a go to bait to catch a good one

A Classic

The jointed shad rap has caught me largemouth when others failed. It floats, dives quickly, and suspends. When you learn a proper technique for retrieval, you will surely catch fish. I recommend the perch color.

My Favorite Lure Overall

The Rapala Jointed Shad Rap crankbait is my go to lure when it comes down yo fishing. When the fish are not biting I tie this baby on and she always seems to bull through. This bait is amazing at enticing the bass to bite.

Murky Water Magic

After a late fall rainstorm, the lake was coffee-color and murky. No luck on plastics or jigs. My buddy put the Shad Rap on (the 'Shad' pattern), immediately caught a 6 lb. Largemouth. Caught a second bass soon after. Recommended highly.

Great Plug

Good action even on a really slow retrieve. You can also burn it in and it acts equally well, but what would you expect from a Rapala.
