Best Launch Monitor For Under $1000
I bought mine 6 months ago as a new golfer (just started golfing this year in March) and it has been an absolute amazing training aid. The course selection is great, they also have multiple range options with a targeted distance range that helps train distance control. The main benefit is how closely accurate the distances are, I had the unique opportunity when I purchased it to compare it side by side with a trackman launch monitor ($30,000+) and the distances were within 3 yards with all the measured metrics really close such as carry distance, launch angle, etc. It definitely has downfalls, if you get a chip shot close to the green within 15 yards, it is really difficult to get the shot to register without overshooting the green, but other than that as long as it is set up properly and you don’t have horrible internet service, it works great.

Best Launch Monitor!
By far the best launch monitor out there! I use it at home and is easy to use at the range as well! Highly recommend and for the price it’s made my golf game much better!

Great Launch Monitor For The Price
I’ve been using the Rapsodo Golf Launch Monitor for a while now, strictly outdoors, and it’s been a solid tool for tracking my game. In practice mode, it feels very comparable to Trackman—data feels reliable and consistent. However, when switching to simulation mode, I’ve noticed it tends to calculate slightly less distance than practice mode, which can be a bit jarring. One gripe I have is that it doesn’t show spin numbers for non-marked balls or range balls, which would be a game-changer for more casual sessions. On the plus side, the shot shape tracking is spot on, accurately capturing fades and draws. It almost never misses a shot, which is impressive for a device in this price range. My biggest frustration comes when using it off grass. Since I take divots, I’m constantly moving the unit to get a clear read, which gets annoying fast. I haven’t tried it indoors yet, so I can’t speak to that experience. Overall, it’s a great tool with some quirks, but it’s been a valuable addition to my practice routine.
