Illegal For Baseball Pitchers - Nfhs Or Ncaa

I'm a little upset that this is listed as a "Pitching Glove" since I found out that it is illegal to use to pitch. I bought this glove for my son and he loves it, but when he came in to pitch in his high school game, we found out that he could not use it while pitching. NFHS Rule 1.3.6 says "The glove/mitt worn by the pitcher that includes the colors white and/or gray shall be removed from the game upon discovery by either team and/or umpire." If your child is planning to wear this glove to play in a game using NFHS rules (pretty much ALL of the high schools in the US) know that they will not be allowed to use it to pitch. I found that the same rule exists in college - NCAA Rule 1.13.d: The pitcher’s glove may not be white or gray, exclusive of piping … This is still his favorite glove and he uses it when he's not pitching - he just has to use a different glove when he's on the mound. This should NOT be listed as a pitching glove.
