Purchased this for my son for his 10th birthday. We wanted to upgrade from his "starter mitt". My son is a smaller player, so although the glove fit his hand I did have to adjust the wrist stitching to get a better fit. The glove took break in quite well, but the laces really stretched quite a bit. Glove leather feels quality, lacing is just okay. It's certainly no A2000 or Heart of the Hide, but it's a good step in the right direction for a youth player as long as their hand fits it. It's stiff enough to be difficult to close for a small handed younger player.
