I had heard there is less leather in the R2G so they break in easier. But my son has no complaints about stingers or anything. Also, it was game ready in like a week. 14U.

Great Glove For Serious Athlete
Purchased this for as replacement to my son's (16u) old glove. Great look in all black. Broke in quickly and was in game use in just a few days. He loves it and is very happy with the size, feel and fit.

Great 1st Baseman’s Glove
My son needed a new 1stB glove and we purchased this one. It’s very durable and great fit. The Dick’s associate steamed and formed the glove immediately after purchasing for free. My son was able to use the glove for the next practice. He has since used it in multiple baseball tournaments and loves it. Rawlings is a great brand and this is our second purchase from the Golden Glove line.

Nice 1b Glove
Good leather, easier to break in than the Rawlings Pro Series. The pro series never seemed to truly break in.
