Super tough and durable. This mitt takes some work to break in. Once that is done, though, the mitt is well padded and can take the abuse of 12 inch fastpitch softballs repeatedly.

Great Glove

I purchased this as my hand-me-down catchers mitt I picked up was destroying my hand from my daughter pitching. I worked it that night and the next morning a bit and had the glove workable and catching for my daughter that afternoon with it. Great padding and protection for the hand. Fairly easy to break-in well for everyday use as well. I had one young lady on her team forget her catchers mitt and borrowed this for the game and she said she didn't have any issues.

Love the Catcher's mitt. I purchased the item in July as to give the glove time to break-in and ready for next year. Definitely stiff and needs time for the break-in process but great padding, comfortable and more importantly, my players love it.
