Don't Buy R2g

It breaks in ok for a catcher's mitt. I coach and still play. I bought this for my 13 almost 14 year old son with the thought that he could use it through HS. The leather in the outer shell is really good quality and the glove looks nice... however, the pocket was hard to form properly and the ball CONSTANTLY pops out. I have found that this is a problem with the R2G series catcher's mitts. He is forced to use his backup, which is a cheap Rawlings "Player Preferred" series, that out performs this HOH R2G. We paid over $300 for a glove he can't even use in a game. I will never buy R2G again!

They catchers glove seems to be great so far, Dicks has been good with the breaking in, it takes 2-3 times at the store to get it done.
