    Workhorse Gloves My Sons Favorite

    Good padding in the right spots for my lefty hitter. Seem to hold up better than Franklin gloves. Had a weird light green color to some of the leather versus all white as expected. Kept him since they’re gonna get dirty anyway.

    Terrible Durability , Everything Else Is Perfect!

    Hey Rawlings! I don’t write reviews often, but this one deserves it. I bought these after deep research. I deal with carpal tunnel and thoracic outlet syndrome, so I specifically needed gloves with impact absorption AND durability. Rawlings markets these as “Workhorse.” That name carries expectations. I used them for ONE batting cage session — roughly 50–70 swings. Normal BP. No frozen balls. No rain. No abuse. Minor sweat at most. They went straight into my travel bag. When I pulled them out later, I genuinely thought I found an old used pair in the bottom of my bag. The palm is heavily wrinkled. There are dark, “wet-looking” spots (they are completely dry). The leather looks prematurely fatigued and broken down. After. One. Use. For $50+, this shouldn’t even be possible. Comfort? Yes. Shock absorption? Solid. Durability? Not even close to what the name suggests. A “Workhorse” should feel like it’s just getting warmed up after 50 swings. These looked like they needed ice and a postgame interview. If you’re buying these expecting long-term durability, I would seriously reconsider. Disappointed is an understatement.

    Comfortable And Durable

    Son goes through gloves faster than some people change their socks. He likes these very much and have held up well so far. He likes these more than some of the more expensive brands he has tried over the years.

    Great Feeling

    I accidentally got 2 pairs of these batting gloves, they seem to be very high quality. I got the dark blue and white pair from both my parents and my grandparents, but one ended up having the rawlings lettering a purple color instead of white. But honestly I like it, it makes the gloves cooler.

    Ideal Gloves For Batting Practice

    I was looking for gloves I could wear over and over for batting practice. I have used these gloves at least five days a week for over a month, they gloves are very durable.
