Great Product

Had a catchers mitt pop a lace during a game. Needed a quick fix and this product didn't disappoint. It did the job and got the mitt back and ready for the next days games.

The Lace Is No Good

The replacement lace broke after one bullpen session, and the tool isn’t the nicest tool you can buy, but if you’re in a pinch, it’s what they sell, so it is what it is. Make sure to ask for better lace and the employee will bring out higher quality lace, any color you want. The higher quality lace has held for several games, but did not come with this kit.

Simple Tool For A Big Deal Project

Noticed my grand daughter fighting with her glove during a game. We swapped her out to get her through the game and went straight to Dick’s for the re-string kit. It’s a simple little thing but she was thrilled. Thanks Dick for keeping the necessary little stuff in stock.

Lace Is Trash

The tool is fine but the lace is trash. I used the tool and lace to repair the webbing of my catcher’s mitt last night, and today the lace exploded during on-field warmups. Baseball went right through the web for the throwdown pitch.
