the needle is excellent and able to be used again and again. The lace was a bit narrow, so we ended up buying a seperate more sturdy lace to use.

Poor Lace Quality

I bought this kit to replace my son’s catchers mitt. First, the lacing tool is difficult to use, and a tool I got on Amazon was much easier to use. Second, the laces were not strong and broke again after 2 days. I had to buy another Rawlings kit that came with thicker lacing and a different tool, and that seems to be okay. It doesn’t make sense that Rawlings would sell kits with laces that are different thicknesses, and that they wouldn’t provide any guidance as to what thickness of lacing may be right for your glove. Overall pretty disappointed.
