Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bat got delivered looking like a banana I bought this bat thinking I could trust Rawlings and the "high quality" products they are known for. After getting home I looked closely at the bat and noticed a huge bend from where the handle transitions into the barrel. I had to use the bat the next day because I was playing in a wood bat tournament and had no other wood bat. In my first at bat the bat snapped. I will NEVER buy from Rawlings again after I spent hard earned money on this piece of garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Bat Very well balanced, slim handle with a slight flare at the end, medium size knob thats not obnoxious. I've used rawlings big sticks for over 9 years at various levels of play and wether it be up against a slower pitcher or a guy whos gassing the performance has stayed the same. The bat has a HUGE sweet spot and when hit well the ball jumps off the bat with little no recoil. For those saying the bat breaks easily, I've also used Marucci and Victus bats and they hold up the same. Its all how and where you're hitting the ball. Always remember, label up or down, and dont chase too far inside if you're late on the pitch. I would 100% recommend this bat to any player from mid teens or higher for all levels of play!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Thrilled Bat broke with 10 mins of use Went to dicks to pick up a wood bat for batting practice. Literally went straight to the batting cage from dicks. 10 mins after entering the batting cage I had a banana bat. I spent a little more money then there base model ($80) on this rawlings maple bat in the hopes that it would last a little longer. Talked to Dicks they said I was out of luck try Rawlings. Contacted Rawlings, told me to ship the bat to them for them to review, and if they thought it was there fault they would replace it. I dont feel like going through the process, Rawlings lost a customer. Returning to my faithful Luiville Slugger M9

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bat & Very Durable and Great Pop - Don't Listen To Others I bought this bat 3.5 years ago. I've used it in the cages and in games as well as in Batting Practice and HomeRun Derby's. The reason the bat breaks is when you put a bad swing on the baseball. If your son or you broke it on the first swing, it's your fault. Learn to hit. I've played baseball since I was 5 and am now 35 and have been an All-Star in every league I've played in. I would strongly recommend this bat to anyone. I always go with the 34" because after all, what's the point of using a Rawlings Big Stick if it you aren't going to actually swing a Big Stick. ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bat used for over a year Got this bat just over a year ago, use it for bp and also games. i dont know how this people are using it they probably just dont know how to hit but i have used it with pitching 85-90 plus and its done great. Dont listen to people breaking it within 10 swings they dont know how to hit. Great bat, going to get another tomorrow and im retiring the one i got a year ago to just bp.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Complete junk... my 15 yr old son had a weekend wood bat tournament for his AAU team so i went to my local Dick's and checked out the selection of wood bats...at $70 this bat seemed like a good middle of the road price point between the high end Maruccis and the "el-cheapo" Louisville Sluggers...wrong...he got two (2) bp sessions out of the bat before it broke at the handle...i ended up buying the "el-cheapo" Louisville Slugger and he has used it in bp and 5 games so far with no issues...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a good bat, just learn to hit. I'm just tired of seeing people saying "oh It broke in one swing" "my son broke it first game" Before you buy a wood bat, Learn to use the barrel with aluminum or you will break every wood bat you buy, it's not the bat it's the hitters

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted 1 BP Session It felt great swinging. Solid contact was great, however, I hit one off the end of the bat, and it broke at the handle. It didn't last one batting practice.
