    For A 9-year-old Just Getting Into Wood Bats, This Is A Great Starter Option

    Picked up this Rawlings Player Preferred ash bat for my 9-year-old, and overall it’s been a solid introduction to wood bats. The biggest thing I noticed right away is how lightweight and balanced it feels. My kid was able to swing it comfortably without trying to muscle it, which is huge at this age. The ash wood has a little bit of flex, so it doesn’t feel as stiff or unforgiving as some other wood bats, and that definitely helped build confidence at the plate.

    Broke After One Practice And 3 Games

    DO NOT BUY. IT WILL BREAK!!!!! This bat arrived 6 days ago. It was used in four games and broke during the last one. A bat used properly should never break after 5 solid hits.

    10U player using wood bat in the cage and it snapped at the handle. Rawlings doesn't cover their wood bats.
